WWE SUMMERSLAM PPV RESULTS – 8/19/12


WWE United States champion Santino Marella vs. Antonio Cesaro (with Aksana)
Cesaro described how great he was in five languages before the match.
They locked up several times with Marella getting the better of the exchanges. Marella scored a near fall with a double leg takedown into a pinfall. Cesaro cut him off and worked over Marella in the corner. Marella avoided a charge into the corner. He went for the Cobra but was blasted from behind. Cesaro grabbed his arms and nailed a series of headbutts. He rode Santino to the mat and cinched in a rear chinlock. Marella tried to crawl towards the ropes and his Cobra but was pulled away.
Cesaro turned it into a side chinlock. Marella fought to his feet and nailed a Saito suplex. He tried again to retrieve the cobra but was pulled away. Cesaro worked over Marella. He grabbed the cobra and ripped it apart, getting a lot of fan reaction for it.
This enraged Marella, who made a comeback but missed a diving headbutt. Cesaro fought back but was nailed and Santino pulled another cobra out of his, well, rear end. Aksana distracted Santino but Cesaro cut off Marella and nailed him with a face-first spike piledriver and scored the pin.

Backstage, Triple H told referee Scott Armstrong that tonight’s match was not going to end in a DQ or a countout. He told Armstrong to let them fight and let it end in a pinfall or submission.
Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler welcomed everyone to the show but were interrupted by Vickie Guerrero who introduced Dolph Ziggler.  Big pop for Ziggler in Los Angeles.
Dolph Ziggler vs. Chris Jericho
Jericho came out with his ribs taped from the Smackdown attack.  They said that he insisted he worked the main event of Smackdown despite the injury and insisted he wrestle tonight.
“Y2J” chants at the bell.  He chased Ziggler to the outside, around the ring and back inside.  Ziggler tried to nail him but was caught with a leaping elbow.  He ran Ziggler into the buckles and chopped him, then beat him with a series of right hands.
Ziggler leapfrogged Jericho bur was chopped down with a big chop.  More loud “Y2J” chants.   Jericho went for a suplex but was punched in the injured ribs.   Ziggler began working them over to wear Jericho down.  He nailed Jericho with a series of punches to the mid-section in the corner.  He whipped Jericho into the ropes.  Jericho held on and backdropped Ziggler over the top to the floor when he charged.
Jericho went to the top for a dive to the outside but missed.  The referee began counting him out but Ziggler returned to the floor and whipped Jericho into the apron outside.  Jericho was tossed into the ring and covered for a near fall.  Ziggler ripped at his face and told Jericho,”You can’t hang with me!”
Ziggler scored with a dropkick to the ribs for a two count.   He tied up Jericho on the mat as the crowd chanted for Jericho.   Jericho mounted some offense and they battled back and forth.  Ziggler cut him off with a Stinger Splash for a two count.  Ziggler drilled Jericho with a hangman’s neckbreaker.  He stepped on Jericho’s chest for a pinfall but Jericho kicked out.  The announcers said he didn’t expect to win but was showing off.
Jericho rolled up Ziggler for a two count but was cut off with a clothesline.  Ziggler missed a charge in the corner and was nailed with a dropkick and a series of shoulderblocks.  Ziggler cut him off with a kick to the ribs.  Jericho kicked off a Ziggler charge and nailed an axehandle off the middle turnbuckle.
Ziggler reversed a whip and smashed Jericho into the buckles and nailed the Famouser for a two count.  Ziggler went to grab Jericho but was maneuvered into a Walls of Jericho attempt.  Jericho kicked him off and nailed a enziguiri kick to the back of the head for a two count.
Jericho sent Ziggler into the turnbuckles but Ziggler went up and over and locked on a sleeper while riding Jericho’s back.  Jericho escaped but Ziggler cut him off and tried to pull him up for a superplex.  Jericho fought him off and whipped out a rana off the top.  Jericho crawled to Ziggler for a cover but Ziggler kicked out at two.
Jericho went for Ziggler, who leapt up and caught him with a stiff DDT for a two count.  They battled back and forth until Jericho nailed a running bulldog.  He went for the Lionsault but Ziggler put his knees up and nailed the Zig Zag.  Ziggler covered him but Jericho kicked up at the last second.  Lots of “Y2J” chants.
Jericho nailed the Codebreaker but Ziggler rolled out of the ring.   Jericho followed to the outside in front of the announcers and rolled him back inside. Vickie grabbed  Jericho’s leg as he entered the ring, allowing Ziggler to use a small package for a two count.
Jericho sent him into the ringpost shoulder-first and locked in the Walls of Jericho for the submission.

Jericho celebrated in the ring while Ziggler and Guerrero looked on, upset, from the stage.
Daniel Bryan vs. Kane.
The crowd chanted “Yes” and Bryan screamed back “No.”  Bryan tried to score with some kicks early but they had no effect.  Kane wiped him out and stomped away at him in the corner.  The crowd chanted for Bryan.
Bryan ran Kane into the ropes and was tossed off.  He flipped over, landed on his feet and was drilled with a kick to the face for a two count.  Kane was dropkicked in the legs, which Bryan targeted with kicks, following Kane around the ring.
Kane grabbed Bryan and tossed him over the top to the floor.    Kane stalked him outside.  Bryan returned to the ring and nailed a sliding dropkick to the outside.  Bryan nailed a dive through the ropes onto Kane.
Kane returned to the ring but was nailed with a missile dropkick for a one count.  Bryan began reacting to “yes” chants and got angry.  He began drilling Kane with a series of kicks to the chest.    He went for a kick to the head but Kane ducked under and clotheslined Bryan hard.
Kane whipped Bryan into the corner and clotheslined him.  Kane followed up with a hard running clothesline in the corner and nailed a sideslam.   Kane came off the top with a clothesline.  He went for the chokeslam but Bryan kicked out and went to the outside of the apron.  He nailed Kane but was caught with  right hand.
Bryan drilled Kane with a shot to the jaw to no effect.  Kane lost it and began stomping the hell out of Bryan.  The referee warned him he would be DQ’d if he didn’t stop.  That allowed Bryan to nail the distract Kane and attempt to lock in the No Lock.  Bryan couldn’t get it so he kicked Kane in the head and went for the diving headbutt.  Kane caught him as he went down and rose, chokeslamming Kane.  Bryan’s reaction to all this was great.
Kane signaled for the tombstone.  Kane went for it but Bryan used an inside cradle and caught him out of nowhere for the surprise pin.

Kane stalked Bryan, chasing him out after Bryan ran out following the pinfall.  The cameras followed Kane destroying the backstage area and looking for Bryan.  Josh Mathews tried to get an interview.  Kane grabbed him and asked where Bryan was.  Matthews said he left so Kane trashed him.  He stormed off, ripping apart the backstage area, screaming for Bryan.
WWE Intercontinental champion The Miz vs. Rey Mysterio
Mysterio came out in a Batman inspired outfit. Miz had the inflatable letters spelling AWESOME for his entrance.
Miz shoulderblocked down Rey.  Miz is in best physical shape of his career.    He worked over Rey early,  Rey ducked a clothesline and used a Lucha head scissor takedown.  He sent Miz into the corner but was cut off.
Miz nailed Rey who rolled through and landed on the outside.  He dared Miz to follow but ran back in when he did and cut off Miz.  Miz countered that by slamming Rey chest-first over the barricade.    He tossed the challenger back into the ring and covered him for a one count.  Miz locked in a rear chinlock, using his knee to dig into the small of Rey’s back.
Rey made a comeback but was caught and nailed with Shock Treatment.  Miz peppered Rey with a series of punches while trash talking him.  Miz covered Rey for a two count.  He locked in a cravate, trying to wear Mysterio down.
Miz worked over Rey and scored several near falls but Mysterio drilled him with a kick for a two count.   Mysterio kicked Miz but was picked up for a slam.  Rey turned that into a DDT for another near fall.  He went to the top but Miz mer him there.  Rey won that battle and was knocked off.  Rey came off with a headscissors into the ropes.  Rey nailed the 619 and went to the top for a splash but missed.
Miz went for a move but was caught with a forward roll for a two count.    Miz caught Rey with the Skull Crushing Finale and scored the pin.

They announced AJ would deal with Kane putting his hands on Josh Mathews on Raw.
Teddy Long and Eve were coming out of AJ’s office and talked about what a good job she was doing as GM.  As they left, WWE champion CM Punk entered and told AJ that he wanted to reiterate that putting him in a match against two opponents where he can lose without being beaten isn’t right.  AJ was zoned out and not listening.  He said that she was doing this because he turned down her proposal on Raw.  She just stared like a drone without emotion.  He said she was disrespecting him just like Cena and all the uninformed fans have been but promised he would retain the title.  He walked out and she was still somewhere on the Grid in Tron, because she sure wasn’t there.
Piers Morgan is sitting behind the announcers.
World champion Sheamus vs. Alberto Del Rio.
They locked up and Sheamus backed him into the corner.  They tried to muscle each other back and forth but the referee broke them up.   This time Del Rio backed up Sheamus, who nailed him with a punch.  They locked up and fell out of the ring to the floor.
Sheamus went into the ringside table.  They battled back and forth on the floor.  Sheamus tossed him back in but was kicked in the head as he returned through the ropes.  Del Rio worked over Sheamus in the corner.  Sheamus kicked off a charge and nailed a neckbreaker for a two count.  Sheamus worked over Del Rio with a series of rights.
Sheamus used a rolling senton for a two count.  Sheamus placed Alberto on the top rope and Sheamus went under putting Del Rio on his shoulders.  Alberto grabbed the buckle to hold on and ripped it off.  Del Rio escaped and went for the cross armbreaker but Sheamus slipped out and went for the Brogue Kick.
Del Rio drilled Sheamus, knocking him to the floor and rammed him backwards into the steel stairs.   Del Rio came off the top with a shoulderblock and covered him for a two count.  Sheamus fought back but was kicked in the leg and covered for a two count.
Sheamus fought his way out of a chinlock and nailed a series of headbutts but was cut off.  Alberto stomped him down to the mat and covered him for a near fall.  Del Rio mocked Sheamus’ mannerisms.   He teased going for the Brogue Kick but was cut off with a Polish Hammer.  Sheamus began working him over but was sent shoulder-first into the ringpost.  Sheamus went to the top but was nailed.  Alberto yanked him, bad arm first, off the ropes, driving him down for a two count.
Del Rio continued working over Sheamus who tried to muscle him onto his shoulders.  Alberto rolled through and locked on the cross armbreaker.  Sheamus tried to fire up and pulled Del Rio up and dropped him into a powerbomb.  Carlos Newton was smiling somewhere.
Sheamus nailed White Noise for a two count.  He set up for the Brogue Kick but Alberto stepped out of the way.  Sheamus caught him in the ropes and worked him over with a series of shots across the chest.   Sheamus rained down with punched in the corner but Del Rio dropped down and drove him into the exposed buckle.  Del Rio nailed the leaping enziguiri for a near fall.
Ricardo, who got up on the apron to celebrate, then tried to toss Del Rio a shoe but the referee saw him.  Alberto was so mad, he dragged Ricardo in and nailed him.  Ricardo rolled out but his shoe was left in the ring.  Sheamus nailed Del Rio with the shoe and hit White Noise for the pin.  Del Rio had his foot on the ropes but the referee missed it.

WWE Tag Team champions Kofi Kingston & R-Truth vs. The Primetime Players
Truth went right after Darren Young and took him down and rained down with the punches.  The crowd began chanting “Kobe Bryant” in reference to the AW firing.  Truth worked over Young, who cut him off and ran him into The Players’ corner.
Titus O’Neal slammed down Truth for a two count.  He locked in a front facelock to wear down Truth as the crowd tried to rally him.   Truth made the hot tag to Kingston really fast and he unloaded with some offense on Titus, then drilled him with the Boom Drop.
Kingston set up the Trouble in Paradise but Young distracted him, allowing Titus to roll out of the ring.  Kofi followed him but was doubleteamed and nailed with a clothesline.  Truth tried to help but the referee forced him back to his corner.  Meanwhile, Kofi was trashed outside and deposited back in the ring.
Kingston tried to fight back but Titus was too strong.  Titus picked up Young for a suplex and dropped him down on Kingston for a two count.  The crowd began chanting for Kingston as Young tied him up on the mat.   Kingston tried to fire back but was nailed with a sideslam.
The Players tagged in and out, working over Kingston.  Kingston countered with a DDT on Titus.  Truth gets the hot tag and cleans house on Young with a series of clotheslines and a right hand.   Truth hit a spinning flying forearm and drilled him with a sitdown gourd buster but Titus broke up the pinfall.
Kingston was tossed over the top by Titus but Kingston skinned the cat, and ducked down when Titus charged.  Kofi nailed a crossbody over the top to the floor. Young rolled up Truth but was nailed with an Axe Kick for the pin.

WWE champion CM Punk vs. Big Show vs. John Cena
Cena was booed out of the place.   Punk came out wearing some snazzy hot pink tights.  Show dominated both early, showing his power.  The crowd went back and forth with Cena and Punk chants.
Show laid out Punk and Cena with big chops across the chest.   Cena and Punk tried to double suplex Show but he reversed it.  Show charged and hit Cena with a back splash in the corner, then followed up with one on Punk.  Punk saw it coming and dropkicked Show in the leg.  LA chanted for Punk, so they have rejected the teased heel turn.
Punk tried to go for the GTS but Show nailed Punk.  Cena tried to out-do him with an AA so Punk nailed Cena and Show collapsed down atop of him.  Show drilled Punk with a shot in the mid-section and stepped onto Punk’s body, crushing him underneath.
Show whipped Punk hard into the turnbuckles and chopped him hard.   Show continued demolishing the champ and teased the KO punch but Cena came to life working him over.  Show speared Cena and covered him for a two count.
Show set up both for a Vader bomb off the ropes.  Punk rolled out of the way but Cena ate it.  Show covered him and Punk broke it up.   Punk unloaded with some punches but was shot over the top to the floor.  He followed Punk to the outside and tossed him into the ropes.  Punk bounced off and hit hard.
Show returned to the ring.  Cena nailed some shots but was cut off with a sideslam.   Cena made a comeback and went for the Five Knuckle Shuffle but Punk took him out and nailed the flying elbow off the top for a two count.  Punk locked in the Anaconda Vice.  Show was able to power out and chopped Punk hard.  Punk rolled towards the outside.
Cena nailed Show with a shoulderblock and locked in a STF.  Show steps up and Cena lands on the buckles.  He tries for a bodypress but is caught and slammed.  Punk nailed the springboard clothesline.  He nailed a series of running knee lifts in the corner on Show.  He goes for the running bulldog but is thrown off.
Cenas goes to the top and hits the Alabama Jam onto the back of the neck of Show.  Cena locks on a STF as Punk locked on the Anaconda Vice.  Show tapped but no one knew who made him submit.  They both argued with the referee over who got the duke.
AJ Lee came out with her music and skipped to the ring.     Cena and Punk were face to face arguing.   Punk told her to “Do the right thing like Spike Lee” and told her to let the fans decide.  AJ ordered them to restart the match.
Show grabbed them both for a double chokeslam and covered Cena for a two count, then covered Punk as well.  Show  went for the KO but Cena ducked under and nailed the AA.  Punk dumped him out of the ring and covered Show for the pin.

They showed Vince McMahon’s star on the Walk of Fame. They then showed Maria Menounos (wearing a Bob Backlund shirt), music producer and SMW backer Rick Rubin, David Arquette (holding a WCW title belt) and Piers Morgan at ringside.
They aired a trailer for “The Day”.  They showed the cast at ringside, doing the John Cena “You Can’t See Me” hand gesture.
Kevin Rudolf performed.  There were all these shots of WWE personalities dancing that were completely embarrassing to watch.  All the Divas came out and danced, even Eve who’s supposed to be a top heel.  Rosa was there.
Brock Lesnar with Paul Heyman vs. HHH
Lesnar tackled HHH into the corner and nailed a series of shoulderblocks.  HHH fired back but was forced back.  Lesnar went for the Kimura but HHH escaped.  He grabbed it again but HHH grabbed the ropes.   Lesnar didn’t let go and scissored him.  HHH nailed him to escape and clotheslines Brock over the top to the floor.
Lesnar glared at him from the floor and hit the ring, killing HHH with knees and a clothesline.   Lesnar ate another sick clothesline to the floor.   This only made Brock madder and he stalked around ringside.  Heyman told him to remember it’s his fight.  Lesnar ripped off his MMA gloves.
Lesnar used a double leg takedown and punched HHH in the back of the head.   HHH rolled to the outside and to the floor.  They battled back and forth with Lesnar getting the better of him.  Lesnar locked HHH’s arm behind him and slammed him down hard on the announcer’s table, which didn’t give at all.  Ouch.
HHH staggered towards the ring and Lesnar pulled him in by his hair.  He kneed HHH in the gut and slammed him across the “once broken” arm.  Lesnar yelled “my house” at HHH and continued working on HHH’s arm.  He stomped the hell out of HHH.
Lesnar went back to the Kimura and rammed HHH’s shoulder into the turnbuckles.  Lesnar went for the F5 but HHH slipped out.  Lesnar caught him and launched him with a German suplex.    HHH fought back with a series of strikes and a DDT.
Lesnar caught him with a Kimura but instead of breaking it, he just slammed HHH on it.   HHH rolled to the outside and Lesnar followed.  HHH tried to whip him into the ring steps but Lesnar reversed.  So far, this isn’t the monster MMA Brock that fought Cena at Extreme Rules but more the monster heel traditional wrestler Brock.
Lesnar drilled HHH into the Spanish Announcer’s Table and flipped it over.  He dove off the table on its side down onto HHH with a big shot to the neck.    Cole said he was a “Butt-kicker.”  Ugh.
Lesnar tossed HHH back into the ring.  HHH fired back but Lesnar rolled him up for a two count.   HHH kneed him to fire back and whipped Brock into the ropes.  Lesnar reversed and clothesline HHH across the face.  You could hear some “boring” screams.
Lesnar grabbed HHH who countered into a suplex.   Lesnar missed a charge in the corner.  HHH went for the Pedigree but was whipped hard into the corner and he took a Ray Stevens style bump over the top to the outside.  Haven’t seen him do that for a long time.
Lesnar went to grab him on the floor but was launched into the corner of the announcer’s table.   Lesnar began selling that he was hurt, playing off  guess his diverticulitis.  Lesnar was heard saying his stomach was hurt.  HHH nailed him in the gut again.  Lesnar rolled back in.  Heyman looked like he just lost his soul.
Lesnar went for the arm but HHH now had a weakness to attack and went after him with a series of knees.   Lesnar went down to one knee.  HHH nailed a spinebuster.  HHH went for the Pedigree but was lifted into the F5.  HHH slipped out and nailed the Pedigree for a near fall.
Lesnar lowblowed HHH.   Lesnar called for HHH to stand.  He nailed the F5 and covered HHH, who kicked out at the last minute.    Lesnar locked on the Kimura and locked it in, scissoring his body.  HHH grabbed the ropes and began nailing Lesnar in the kidneys and stomach, forcing him to break the hold.
HHH nailed the Pedigree but Lesnar grabbed the Kimura.  HHH tried to fight it off and nailed Lesnar.  They teased Lesnar was going to have his arm broken and he finally tapped.

HHH refused medical help after and spent a long time in the ring recovering.  There were some boos and finally a “HHH” chant.  He demanded an EMT get out of the ring and shoved him away.  The ever sensitive crowd in LA began chanting, “You tapped out.”  HHH told the crowd that he was sorry.  He was holding his arm to the side as if it was injured.  The cameras followed him all the way out to the back.
As the show went off the air, Michael Cole said, “This is the end of HHH.”

WWE - MONEY IN THE BANK PPV 2012


WWE Tag Team champions Kofi Kingston & R-Truth vs. Camacho & Hunico

Hunico cut a promo as they came to the ring, claiming to be the future of the WWE.    Truth played to the crowd when they rang the bell.  Truth nailed a Lou Thesz Press and rained down with several punches.  Hunico reversed an Irish whip but was shoulderblocked down.
Truth nailed him with a right hand and tagged Kingston into the ring.  Kingston nailed a flying clothesline for a two count.  Hunico cut him off and send Kingston itno the ropes but was nailed with a rana for a two count.
The Tag champions nailed a double hiptoss.  Truth nailed a legdrop and covfered Hunico for a two count.  Camacho kicked Truth from outside the ring to cut off his momentum.  The challengers tagged in and out, working over Truth.
Truth nailed a butterfly suplex and slammed Truth.  Hunico tagged in with a slingshot senton over the ropes.  He locked in a side chinlock.  Truth fought his way out with a series of elbows.  He sent Hunico into the ropes and nailed a leg lariat.
As both men were down, the crowd rallied Truth for the hot tag and he made it to to Kingston.  Kingston cleaned house on both men and nailed a leaping clothesline on Hunico.  He nailed the Boom Drop on Hunico and set up for the Trounble in Paradise.  Hunico avoided it and worked over Kingston, then sent him to the floor.
Camacho lurked over Kingston but didn’t attack him.  Kingston rolled back into the ring where Camacho nailed a back suplex and a legdrop for a two count.  Camacho choked Kingston against the ropes and punted him in the mid-section.
Kingston fired back with several chops but was cut off and sent into nthe challengers’ corner.  Camacho worked him over and tagged in Hunicol ,who used the ropes to vault over and come down with a kick to Kingston’s face in one fluid motion.  The crowd chanted for Kofi.  Hunico rolled up Kingston, then lifted him into a powerbomb for a near fall.
Hunico drilled Kingston with a chop in the corner, then mauled him with punches.  He sent Kingston into the corner but Kingston leapt off and nailed a rana.  He made the hot tag to Truth, who cleaned up with a number of clotheslines and a powerslam on Camacho.
Truth DDT’d Camacho for a two count but Hunico broke up the attempt.  Hunico was sent into a Trouble in Paradise by Kingston.  Truth nailed Camacho with the Ax Kick for the win.

Josh Mathews interviewed Chris Jericho. He said his strategy was to win. He said that although he invented the Money in the Bank, he’s never won one. He said that was going to change tonight and he was going to be known after tonight as Mister Money in the Bank.
Daniel Bryan cut a promo backstage promising that AJ would be fair to him in the WWE title match and he would be the new WWE champion.
WWE Money in the Bank opened with a video feature on everyone who has cashed in on the MITB opportunities in the past.
Dolph Ziggler vs. WWE Intercontinental champion Christian vs. Tensai vs. WWE United States champion Santino Marella vs. Damien Sandow vs. Tyson Kidd vs. Cody Rhodes vs. Sin Cara – Money in the Bank for WWE World title match contract.
Tenai controlled the fray early, destroying everyone and tossing Santino over the top to the floor.  Tensai brought a pair of ladders into the ring   Tensai kicked Kidd down in  the corner.   He nailed a catapult into a ladder bridged in the buckles.  He nailed Christian with an Avalanche in the corner.
Kidd and Christian worked over Tensai and used a ladder to run him down.  Kidd, Christian and Santino all tried to get to the top of a ladder but Sandow tipped it over.
Sandow began climbing the ladder but Ziggler and Cody returned and prevented it.  Ziggler was laid out by Rhodes but Cara hit the ring with a series of kicks and a rana to the outside.  Ziggler went to the top but Cara nailed a kick to the head.  Cara went for a neckbreaker but they instead toppled down in a frightening moment.
Kidd went after Cara but was slammed on the ladder.  Cara went to the top for a moonsault but was shoved over the top to the floor by Christian. Christian went for a splash off the top but Kidd moved and Christian ate the ladder.  Rhodes worked over Kidd but was nailed with a leaping kick.
Kidd set up a ladder in the center of the ring but Tensai nailed him from behind and worked him over in the corner.  Santino tried to scurry up the ladder but Tensai nailed a powerbomb then tossed him out to the floor.  Kidd went up the ladder and Tensai tried to do it again but instead Kidd caught him with a rana over the ropes to the floor.
Sandow tried to ascend the ladder but Cara attacked him.  Sandow stomped the hell out of him and went back to the top.  Christian followed him and climbed over him.  He grabbed the case but couldn’t unhook it.  Christian was pulled down and went for the Killswitch but was shoved off.  He was sent into the ladder and tried to climb it but Sandow nailed him.
Sandow set up a ladder in the corner and tried to run Christian into it but was caught with an inverted DDT.  Christian set up for the spear but was caught with a running high knee by Sandow.  Christian fought him off and speared Sandow into the ladder.
Christian set up a ladder and climbed to the top for the briefcase.   Ziggler and Rhodes grabbed his legs out from under him and sent him flying into the ladder.  They made their way to the top and battled back and forth.  Tensai returned and nailed Ziggler, then slammed Rhodes backwards off the ladder before depositing him to the outside.
Tensai went to the top but was met by Kidd.  He nailed Kidd and was alone with the case.  Marella grabbed his leg.  Cara went to the top but was headbutt down.  Christian and Marella used a ladder to beat down Tensai.  Marella sent Christian over the top then got the better of Ziggler when Ziggler attacked.  Marella nailed Ziggler with the Cobra.  Say what you want about the guy but the crowd loved it
Marella began climbing the ladder but was afraid of the heights.  The Cobra wanted to go but Marella didn’t.  He was close to the case.  Sandow and Rhodes went after him but Sandow got the cobra before Rhodes could dropkick Marella off.
Coy threw a ladder in Marella’s face in the corner.     Rhodes began to climb but Vickie climbed on the ladder to distract him, setting Ziggler up to nail the Zig Zag off the ladder.  Ziggler began to climb and made it to the top but Christian nailed him.  Kidd  used a ladder as a base to use almost a sunset flip style takedown on Ziggler.  That got a “holy sh**” chant.
This allowed Sandow to nail Christian and bring him down but Christian slipped under the ladder and nailed him with the ladder.  They ended up on the floor after a Cactus clothesline.
Tensai bridged a ladder between the ring and the announcers and powerbombed Cara across it.  Ziggler attacked Tensai but was sent over the announcers in a  crazy bump.  Tensai began laying out bodies outside until Rhodes smacked him into the ladder outside.  Rhodes and Kidd were left in the ring and battled atop of the ladder.  Rhodes grabbed him for a suplex and dropped him off.  Christian speared Rhodes off one ladder to the mat below.  This is all crazy trainwreck spots.
Ziggler climbed to the ring as Christian was at the top for the case and shoved him off,  Ziggler unhooked the briefcase and won the bout.

As Ziggler left, he said, “It’s about damn time!”
Josh Mathews interviewed World champion Sheamus.   Sheamus was asked about Ziggler winning but Sheamus said he wanted to focus on tonight.  He said Alberto Del Rio was a desperate man given all the things he’s pulled recently.  He said his father used to tell him that you could judge a man by the car he drives.  Sheamus said that he has the only hood ornament he needs with the World title.  He promised to take out Del Rio.
They introduced The Miz, who was returning from filming The Marine: Homefront.  The crowd chanted “Miz is awesome.”  He said that he bet everyone was wondering where he was.  He said he was filming a movie and was a bonafide movie star.  He said that he was treated like a superstar for the first time in a long time.  He said that he won MITB in the past and cashed him and that’s why he is here today.  He announced he was putting himself into the WWE championship Money in the Bank match.  He said he was tired over being overlooked.
Mick Foley’s favorite Raw moment was winning the WWF title.  I loved that one too.  They noted that WCW gave it away and 600,000 fans immediately tuned into Raw.
World champion Sheamus vs. Alberto Del Rio
They locked up and Del Rio went to the floor when Sheamus had him on the defensive.  He returned to the ring and nailed Sheamus with a right but Sheamus fired back with a number of shots in the corner.  Sheamus drilled him into the corner but Del Rio kicked him in the gut and locked on an armbar.
Sheamus fought out of it and drilled Del Rio with a knee across the back of the head.  He drilled and beat Del Rio with a series of knees and covered him with a two.   Del Rio came back with a dropkick but missed a move and ended up on the apron.  Sheamus suplexed Del Rio back into the ring and nailed the battering ram shoulderblock for a two count.
Del Rio ended up on the floor.  Sheamus tossed him back in,  Ricardo distracted Sheamus, allowing Del Rio to nail him with a kick.  Sheamus was sent to the floor and had his arm slammed against the ring steps.  Del Rio slapped him on the floor.
Del Rio dropkicked Sheamus and controlled Sheamus as he worked over his bad arm.  Del Rio covered him for several near falls and locked on a keylock, trying to force him into a submission.   Sheamus fought to his feet but was kicked in the back of the head.
Sheamus kept trying to fight his way up but Alberto brought him back down.  Sheamus finally broke  Dek free and charged but Del Rio avoided the charge and Sheamus nailed the ringpost with his shoulder.  Del Rio continued to control Sheamus, using a headbutt to keep Sheamus down.   Del Rio went for a cross armbreaker but Sheamus avoided it.
Del Rio sent Sheamus over the top to the apron.  Sheamus tried to come back in with a clothesline over the ropes but was caught with a DDT and drilled down on his bad arm.  Del Rio grabbed Sheamus by the face and trash talked him but was grabbed and rammed backward into the buckles.  Sheamus nailed a running knee in the face for a two count.
Sheamus worked over Del Rio with shots across the chest and nailed the Uranage into a backbreaker for a two count.   Del Rio kicked away at Sheamus.  Sheamus missed a Brogue Kick and was caught up in the ropes.  Del Rio nailed a backstabber for a two count.  He ran and kicked Sheamus in the mid-section.
He went for an enziguiri but Sheamus ducked.  He nailed White Noise and set up for the Brogue Kick.  He nailed Del Rio with it and scored the pin.

Ricardo and Del Rio attacked Sheamus after the bout and laid him out. The crowd immediately chanted “We want Zigger!” Dolph came out with the briefcase and went to cash in. Del Rio got in his face and was nailed with the case.
Ziggler handed over the case but was immediately kicked in the face with a Brogue kick. The announcers made it clear that he didn’t cash in as the bell was never sounded to kick off the match. Sheamus went to the back, celebrating with the fans.
Epico & Primo vs. Primetime Players
Washington was mic’d so you could hear what he was saying to his clients early.   That was getting real annoying but also probably that’s the idea.
Primo and Epico controlled Titus O’Neal early.  Darren Young tagged in and backdroped Primo, who ended up doing a handstand in the corner and turned it into a rana. Primo nailed a tope to the outside.  Titus was sent over the top to the floor.  Epico nailed a tope con hilo to the floor.
Back in the ring, The Players worked over Epico.  Titus ran him backfirst into the ringpost outside.   Back in the ring, O’Neal powered up and slammed Epico.  Young was picked up and dropped on Epico.  Washington was actually using a Pick to clean up Young’s hair.  That was pretty funny.
O’Neal slammed Epico but Primo broke up the pinfall.  Rosa danced to distract the Players and that allowed Epico to nail O’Neal with a stomp.  Primo and Young tagged in.  Primo came off the top with a flying chop.   He nailed a twisting senton splash for a two count.
He dropkicked Young into the ropes and dove out of the ring with his weight crashing across Young.  He dove off the top but Young pulled his knees up,   Young grabbed him but was caught in a forward roll for the pin.

After the match, Washington said it didn’t matter because they were still the number one contenders. They caught the Tag champions laughing about the loss on camera and confronted them. Washington got doused with a drink and teased he was going to fight but was held back by his team. I don’t get how that did anything for the Players.
Matt Striker interviewed AJ.  She said she is taking her responsibilities as a referee seriously.  She said that just because CM Punk broke her heart in front of the entire world and made her act out in rage and slap him doesn’t mean she doesn’t know what an amazing human being he is.  She said Daniel Bryan was her first love and you always remember that even when they are a two faced person who lies to you to further their career.   She said that she doesn’t know whether to kiss them or hurt them when she is near them…then composed herself and said the match is next and walked off.

Bryan went for a kick but Punk shot in and grabbed his leg.  They went into the ropes.  Bryan and Punk nailed a series of kicks on each other.  Bryan went to the floor.  Punk followed and nailed a series of chops on the floor.  Bryan reversed a whip into the railing and Punk nailed it.  Bryan nailed a series of shots and brought him back into the ring.
Bryan measured Punk with a series of kicks to the chest.  He worked over Punk with chops.  They battled back with strikes and kicks.  Punk came off the ropes with a legdrop but missed.  Bryan measured and drilled Punk with a series of kicks, screaming, “Yes” each time.  He punted Punk in the stomach.  That is like the third match featuring that tonight.
Bryan grabbed Punk by the face, then locked in a side headlock.  Bryan was sent into the ropes but shoulderblocked Punk down.  Punk nailed a dropkick but Bryan went to the floor.  Punk nailed a dive to the outside.  He worked over Bryan and brought him back to the ring.  As AJ returned to the ring, Punk was shoved into the the ropes and knocked her to the floor.
Punk and the officials checked on her.  Bryan came off the apron with an axehandle.  He checked on AJ, who was then walked to the back.  Another referee took her place as Bryan worked over Punk, including a running knee off the apron to the floor.
Bryan picked up Punk and dropped him across the ring steps outside.  Dueling chants.  Punk backdropped a charging Bryan over into the timekeeper’s area.   He set Bryan up on the rail and nailed a flying clothesline.  The fans chanted for tables.  Punk pulled one out but Bryan attacked Punk and nailed him with a slam on the floor.
Bryan grabbed a Kendo stick and tried to nail Punk with it but he rolled out of the way and into the ring.  He dared Bryan to enter the ring.   He drilled Punk with a shot.  Punk got the stick but was kicked before he could use it.  Punk was backdropped to the outside.  He went for the flying springboard clothesline but was nailed with the cane in mid-air.  Bryan caned the hell out of Punk.
Bryan kicked Punk over and over.  He suplexed Punk and went to the top for the flying headbutt.  Punk rolled out of the way and there was no water in the pool.  Punk recovered and they battled back and forth with strikes.  Punk nailed a neckbreaker for a two count.
Punk nailed the running high knee and went for the bulldog but Bryan shoved him off.  Bryan missed a knee of his own and was caught with a powerslam for  two count.  Punk called the GTS.  He went for it and Bryan turned it into a rana for a two count.  Bryan drilled Punk with a kick to the head.  Bryan nailed a cane shot and locked in a bow and arrow.  Punk freed his arm and grabbed the cane, whacking the hell out of Bryan with it.  Punk covered Bryan for a two count.
Punk went to the top but was drilled with a forearm.  Bryan drilled Punk into the ring with a superplex but also knocked himself woozy.  With both men down, AJ returned to the ring as the referee.  She skipped around the ring as both were out then went under the ring for a steel chair.
Bryan asked her for the chair and Punk stared but she finally dropped the chair in the center and let them fight over it.  Bryan got the chair first and worked Punk over with a series of shots across the back.  He covered Punk, who kicked up at two.     Bryan began telling her that she needed to count to three.  Punk rolled him up from behind for a two count.
Bryan nailed Punk and told AJ this was for her and began drilling Punk with kick after kick.   He beat the hell out of Punk.  AJ was disturbed by it.  Bryan charged Punk was caught with a leaping clothesline by Punk.   Punk grabbed the chair and laid Bryan out with three shots across the back.  He wedged it in the corner and was going to run Bryan into it but AJ stepped in front of the chair in the corner.
Punk finally went to grab the chair but was dropkicked into the chair by Bryan.   Bryan went to grab the cane but AJ stepped on the cane.  Bryan begged her for it and she laughed at him.  Punk caught him with a kick to the head.  He slammed Bryan with the chair under him.  Punk went to the top for the flying elbow but Bryan moved and Punk nailed the chair.
Bryan locked in the Yes Lock, using the Cane as additional pressure across Punk’s face.   Punk finally slipped  free.  He caned Bryan’s leg and nailed a Catapult into the corner.  Punk nailed Bryan with the GTS.  He covered Bryan for a two count.
Punk and AJ went face to face after the pinfall attempt.   Punk rolled outside and went for the table from earlier.   He slid it into the ring.   Punk rolled Bryan onto the table and nailed him with several shots.  Punk went to the top for the elbow but Bryan nailed him and worked over Punk with a series of forearms.   Bryan went to the top for a rana but Punk slipped out from underneath and crotched Bryan.
Punk nailed a series of elbow strikes to the chest and nailed a belly to back suplex off the top through the table.  Punk covered Bryan and scored the pin.

After the match, Punk was handed the title by AJ.  He immediately went to the ropes to play to the crowd as she looked heart-broken over their situation.  She looked down at Bryan for a long time as he was out on the mat.
Ryback vs. Curt Hawkins & Tyler Reks
Ryback overpowered them easily.  He drilled Hawkins with a running kick to the chest.  He chased Hawkins around the ring but was nailed by Reks as he returned.  Reks drilled him with a running clothesline.
Reks and Hawkins worked over Ryback.  They took turned working him over.  Reks slammed Hawkins atop Ryback.   Reks and Hawkins picked up Ryback for a suplex and dropped him forward.
Ryback mounted a comeback and worked over Hawkins, then drilled Reks for a big backdrop.   He nailed a spinebuster on Hawkins, then pulled him up into a powerbomb.  Hawkins was sent over the top to the floor, then drilled Reks with his lariat, which they called The Meathook.
Ryback nailed his Torture Rack bomb, which has been nailed Shellshock and pinned Reks.
Your winner, Ryback!
Typical Ryback match although he was in more of a defensive position than he has been put into thus far.  They are bringing him around slow and sure.  Nothing wrong with that at all.
WWE Divas champ Layla & Tamina Snuka & Kaitlyn vs. Eve Torres & Natalya & Beth Phoenix
Snuka and Natalya started out.  Kaitlyn tagged in and drilled Natalya with a sideslam.   Phoenix tagged in and slapped her.  Kaitlyn tagged her back.  Eve tagged in but was nailed with high cross bodyblock for a two count.
Kaitlyn was kicked off as she charged.  Eve came off the buckles with a kick for a two count.  She locked in a front facelock and tagged in Beth, who choked Kaitlyn against the ropes. Layla made the hot tag with several clotheslines and a bodypress off the ropes for a two count.
Phoenix nailed a press slam but it was turned into a sunset flip.  This turned into a series of run-ins and all the women fighting.  Tamina superkicked Beth, who turned into a Layla DDT for the pin.

Kane vs. The Miz vs. John Cena vs, Chris Jericho vs. Big Show – Money In the Bank Ladder Match for WWE title shot
They noted that with this match, Kane now held the record for the most MITB matches.
Everyone started battling at the bell.  Cena clotheslined Show over the top to the floor but was immediately thrown into the stairs.  Show threw Jericho into a ladder at the apron.  Miz was left alone in the ring and tried to get to the top of the ladder but Cena stopped him.  Show returned and laid out Miz and Cena.
Show threw a ladder at Jericho who was out in the floor.  Kane confronted Show and they battled back and forth.   Kane was caught going for a bodyblock and slammed.  Miz leapt into the ring but was nailed with a chop in the air by Show.  Show then killed Jericho.
Show went for a chokeslam but Jericho ducked and nailed a codebreaker.  Miz nailed Show and Kane nailed him over the top to the floor.  Cena began preparing the ringside announcer’s table and nailed the Attitude Adjustment through the table on Show.
Everyone buried Show under the ladders.  Jericho tried to climb the ladder but was nailed by Miz.  Jericho sent Miz into the corner hard.   Jericho ascended to the top but Cena grabbed him from behind.  Cena slammed him into the ladder and Jericho fell to the mat and rolled out of the ring.  Cena continued climbing to the top but Miz pulled him down and drilled him with a DDT.
Miz went to the top but was nailed by Kane with a ladder.   Kane began ascending to the briefcase but Miz grabbed his leg.  Kane grabbed him for a chokeslam.  Jericho went after him as well but was grabbed for a chokeslam.  They fought off Kane and nailed a double suplex on the ladder.
Cena returned to the fray and nailed Mix and Jericho with slams on a ladder.  He went for the five knuckle shuffle on both at the same time.  Kane returned and went for the chokeslam but Cena slipped out and nailed an AA onto Miz and the ladder.  Jericho grabbed a smaller ladder and smacked Cena with it.
Jericho climbed up the ladder but Show returned and ripped the ladder apart with his bare hands.  He began beating Jericho over the back with one half of the ladder.  He drilled Kane with a ladder as he returned to the ring.  He chopped Miz so hard, Miz went through the ropes to the floor.H threw a ladder atop of Miz on the floor for good measure.
Show was left with Cena, drilling him with a hard punch to the chest.  Show set up a ladder and drilled it into Cena’s face.   Show began throwing all the ladders out of the ring.     He went under the ring and pulled out this massive gold ladder with the idea that it was the only ladder that could handle Show’s weight.
Show went to the top but Kane met him.  They grabbed each other’s throats.  Kane got the worst of their exchange and was sent to the mat.  Cena tried to fight him off but same result.  Jericho nailed Show with a series of chairs and that brought Show down.
This left Jericho and Cena racing to get to the top of the ladder.   They tried for the case but it swung out of their reach.  Cena went for the AA on the top of the ladder but Jericho slipped behind him and locked in a sleeper.   Cena began to climb down but gutted it out and climbed back up, despite the sleeper.  Cena began to fade at the top of the ladder.
Miz tried to climb up the other side but Jericho nailed him.  He locked the sleeper on again as Cena tried to reach the case.  Cena was finally shoved off the ladder and crashed down.  Jericho was left alone and grabbed the case but Miz returned.  They battled to unhook the case.  Miz headbutt Jericho, who swung off the ladder holding onto the case.
Miz teased hitting a DDT off the ladder.  They battled back and forth as Show made it to the top of the ladder.  Jericho was nailed with the KO punch, as was Miz.  Cena made it to the top and used the case to nail Show.  Cena pulled the case free and nailed Show again.

Cena celebrated in the ring as we went off the air.

WrestleMania XXVIII

We open with Lillian Garcia singing America the Beautiful, then we flip to the opening video, and then we’re off to Miami for this year’s edition of the Granddaddy Of Them All, Wrestlemania 28!

World Title Match: Daniel Bryan vs Sheamus

Bryan gets a good luck kiss, then turns aroundandcatches a Bro Kick from Sheamus, who covers and gets the three count.

Winner and new World Heavyweight Champion: Sheamus

Team Johnny is backstage getting hyped up for tonight’s match, and Miz says that losing is not an option. Just like he won the main event of Wrestlemania last night, they’re going to win tonight. David Otunga introduces John Laurinaitis, who says that by winning the match tonight, they’re going to make Wrestlemania history like when Hogan slammed Andre, like when Austin refused to submit to Bret Hart’s Sharpshooter, tonight will become known as the night John Laurinaitis became the GM of both Raw and Smackdown.

Kane vs Randy Orton

Orton fires off on Kane right at the bell and they duke it out in the corner, Kane goozles Orton but Orton fights his way out and beats Kane down and puts the boots to him. Orton trires to do the DDT off the second rope, but Kane elevates Orton onto the top rope and comes in with a big boot to the head. Kane with a snapmare and a basement dropkick for 2, the gets Orton in a rear chinlock.

Orton makes it to his feet and they trade blows in the middle of the ring, but Orton comes off the ropes right into a chop to the throat. Kane covers for 2, then gets a side suplex for another 2 count. Orton gets out and gets a neckbreaker for 2, then starts unloading with more right hands. Kane runs Orton into the cornerand gets a delayed vertical suplex for 2. Kane back to the rear chinlock, Orton gets out and counters a side suplex attempt to the over the back backbreaker.

Orton with a clothesline, then another one, but Kane stays on his feet so Orton hits a snap powerslam and rams Kane shoulder first into the ringpost. Ortongoes for an RKO, but Kane shoves him off into the ropes and hits a big boot for 2. Kane goes up top and comes off with a clothesline attempt, but Orton dropkicks him on the way down and sets up again for the punt. He charges in, but Kane catches Orton and hits a chokeslam for 2.

Kane pummels Orton in the corner with right hands, Orton ducks a clothesline and goes for the RKO, but Orton shoves Kane off into the corner. Kane lands a back elbow and goes to the second rope, but Orton just batters him with right hands and goes up to the second with him. He stops to look out at the fans, but the delay costs him because Kane grabs him by the throat and hits a chokeslam off the second rope for the win.

Winner: Kane

Santino Marella is backstage with Mick Foley and some guy from Deadliest Catch, and Santino promotes a WWE appearance on Deadliest Catch as Foley extolls the virtues of his new low carb diet. Foley puts Mr Socko on, Santino puts on the Cobra sock, and they dig into their crab dinners. Okay.

Intercontinental Title Match: Cody Rhodes vs Big Show

Cody bails out to the floor as soon as the bell rings, Show goes after him and Cody rolls back inside and tries a baseball slide, but Show catches him coming out of the ring and press slams him back inside.

Show goes back inside and pummels Cody, hits a Beell across the ring, followed by a big bodyslam,and then chops Cody’s chest in in the corner. Show with a big ass to Cody’s face in the corner, but Cody dodges a charge in the corner and dropkicks his knees out from under him.

Show tries to fire back at Cody, but another dropkick to the knee and Show goes back down. Cody fires repeated right hands to the skull of Show and goes for a cover, but Show easily presses him off at 2, so Cody goes back to the knee. I guess Cody has watched tapes of what Ric Flair did to his dad. Cody goes for a boot to the head, but Show catches his foot and fires back with big right hands.

Show charges Cody in the corner and runs into Cody’s boot, but Cody goes up top and Show grabs him by the throat. Cody grabs Show’s hand and drops down to the floor, then comes back in and hits the Beautiful Disaster kick, but Show counters another one with a spear and knocks Cody out with the WMD for the win.

Winner and new Intercontinental Champion: Big Show

Sheamus shops at Walmart, and then we see a video of how awesome it is to be a WWE Diva as all the girls talk about how great it is to travel the world and go to red carpet premieres. Then we go to Extra when Maria Menounes interviewed Kelly Kelly about Wrestlemania before Eve and Beth crashed the party and challenged Kelly and Maria to fight them at Wrestlemania.

Beth Phoenix & Eve Torres vs Kelly Kelly & Maria Menounos

Eve takes Kelly to the ropes and nails her, but Kelly slides between the legs and hits a Frankensteiner for 2. Eve sends Kelly to the corner, but Kelly ducks out of the way and rams Eve fact first into the corner. She goes for her cartwheel back elbow, but Eve gets the elbow up and goes up top for a moonsault. Kelly nails her and Eve tumbles down to the mat and then Maria tags in so they can give Eve a double stinkface. Beth nails Maria from the outside and Eve chokes Maria on the second rope.

Eve gets a bodyscissors and a rear chinlock, then realizes Maria doesn’t know how to take a rear chinlock and gives up. She tags out to Beth, who comes in and boots Maria right in the injured ribs before locking her in a side bearhug. So a non-wrestler with injured ribs is able to survive a bearhug from a girl with arms the size of Beth.

Beth drops to hold to knock Kelly off the apron, then tags out to Eve so she can hit the standing moonsault, but Maria kicks Eve out to the floor and crawls over to make the hot tag to Kelly, who comes in and goes after Beth. She knocks Eve off the apron, hits a flying headscissors on Beth, followed by a neckbreaker. Kelly comes off the top rope with a Molly Go Round, but Eve breaks it up at 2.

Beth is angry now and goes for the Glam Slam, but Kelly counters to a bulldog. Kelly crawls over to the injured Maria and tags her in, and Maria slowly climbs up top,but takes so much time that Beth comes over and nails her, picks her up in a press slam, but Kelly comes into the ring and spears Beth, allowing Maria to roll up the Divas Champion for the win.

Winners: Kelly Kelly & Maria Menounos

The ring announcers informs the crowd that they beat a long standing attendance record in this building by drawing over 78,000 fans to the building, and then Jim Ross comes out to join the announce team for our next match.

Hell In A Cell: Triple H vs Undertaker with special referee Shawn Michaels

Undertaker pulls his hood off to reveal a shaved head and stares Triple H down. They go nose to nose in the middle of the ring and then look up as Metallica plays and the Cell is lowered over the ring, then Shawn calls for the belland we’re off. They go toe to toe in the middle of the ring and Undertaker gets the advantage.

Undertaker takes Hunter to the corner and pummels him with right and left hands, but Hunter gets a boot to the face when Undertaker charges him in the corner and responds with right and left hands of his own. Undertaker with another flurry of fists and he dumps Hunter out to the floor. Undertaker goes out after Hunter and rams him face first into the ring steps, then Hunter kicks Undertaker and rams him into the cage.

Hunter goes for another whip into the cage but Undertaker reverses and Hunter crashes into the steel mesh, then turns around and gets backdropped on the floor. Undertaker with a series of headbutts and then he rams Hunter into the cage again before choking him out against the ring apron. Shawn tries to get Undertaker to back off on Hunter, but Undertaker shoves him off and rams Hunter into the cage again.

Undertaker whips Triple H into the ring steps so hard they crash around to the other side of the ring, then rolls Triple H back inside. Triple H reverses a whip to the ropes and nails Undertaker, then gets a facebuster that the Undertaker no-sells, and Undertaker takes Triple H out with another clothesline. Undertaker with the wristlock and he goes to the top rope for Old School, and he nails it.

Undertaker dumps Triple H back out to the floor and follows him out, picking up the ring steps and bashing Triple H in the head with them. Undertaker lays Triple H on the ring apron and catches him with a running legdrop. Undertaker brings the steps inside the ring and turns to grab Triple H, but Triple H gets a boot to the gut and a DDT, and just that quickly, the tide turns.

Undertaker goes to reach for the ring steps again, but Triple H stops him and rams him face first into the steps over and over and then goes for the Pedigree on the steps, but Undertaker backdrops him off the steps and onto the canvas. Undertaker with more right hands and now he rams Triple H’s face into the steps and comes off the ropes, but Triple H catches him coming in and he hits a spinebuster onto the steps.

Triple H goes to grab him and Undertaker catches Hunter in Hell’s Gate, which he beat Triple H with last year, but Triple H powers Undertaker up and powerbombs him and then covers for 2. Triple H goes under the ring and gets a steel chairand rams it into Undertaker’s ribs, then bashes Undertaker over the back with it. Triple H picks the steps back up and sets them up in the corner and whips Undertaker into them.

Triple H dumps the steps out to the floor, then picks the chair back up and nails Undertaker with it over and over until Shawn steps in and tells Hunter to back off. Hunter shoves him out of the way and goes back to demolishing Undertaker with the chair. Hunter yells at Shawn to end it if he wants it over, and Shawn tells him that he knows Undertaker isn’t going to quit.

Shawn goes to ask Undertaker, but Undertaker shoves him away again, so Triple H with more chairshots and then he tells Shawn to end it or he will. Undertaker tells Shawn not to stop it, so Triple H yells at Undertaker to stay down. Undertaker makes his way to his feet regardless, so Triple H with a chairshot to the midsection and another one over the back, and he covers for 2.

Triple H picks the chair back up and nails Undertaker again, and Shawn checks on Undertaker again and Undertaker repeats to Shawn that he doesn’t want him to stop it. Triple H goes under the ring and gets the sledgehammer, and Shawn tries to talk sense into him, but Triple H tells him to end it because Triple H will if he won’t.

Shawn tells Undertaker to please let him ring the bell, but Undertake again shoves him away, so Hunter bashes him in the face with the sledgehammer and makes a cover, but only gets 2. Shawn again tries to tell Hunter to stop, but Hunter shoves him out of the way and tries to bash Undertaker’s skull in, but now Shawn grabs the sledgehammer out of his hand and throws it away.

Hunter tells Shawn to end it, and Shawn almost decides to ring the bell, but Undertaker catches Shawn in the Hell’s Gate to stop him from ringing the bell. Triple H comes to his best friend’s rescue by bashing Undertaker’s head in with the sledgehammer.

Triple H goes to check on Shawn, then goes after Undertaker, but Undertaker kicks him low and catches Triple H in Hell’s Gate. Triple H gets ahold of the sledgehammer, but he drops it. Triple H fades out, but he gets the sledgehammer again…and then fades out and drops the sledgehammer. This was the exact same finish as last year, but this time there’s no referee, so the Undertaker is forced to drop the hold.

Another referee runs into the Cell to take over as Undertaker chokeslams Triple H, but Hunter kicks out at 2. Undertaker grabs the referee and chokeslams him, then collapses into the ropes from exhaustion. Undertaker picks Triple H up for the Tombstone, but Hunter slips out the back and Shawn suddenly pops up and hits the Sweet Chin Music on Undertaker, followed immediately by Triple H hitting the Pedigree, and Hunter goes for the cover but Undertaker is out at 2.

Triple H has the sledgehammer againand Undertaker is prone on the mat. Shawn tries to shove Hunter back, but Hunter now tosses Shawn out to the floor and then turns around as Undertaker sits up and unloads on Hunter with right hands.

Undertaker with a running clothesline in the corner, Snake Eyes, and a big boot. Undertaker with a legdrop and then the Tombstone, and Shawn makes it back into the ring to make the count, but now Triple H is out at 2. Shawn looks completely torn as he sits in the corner watching both men try and get to their feet.

Triple H and Undertaker get to their knees and trade blows, then they make it to their feet and continue going toe to toe. Undertaker goes for another Tombstone, but Triple H slips out the back and hits the Pedigree, but Undertaker once again kicks out at 2. Undertaker sits up and grabs a chair as Triple H again gets ahold of the sledgehammer.

Undertaker makes it to his feet and steps on the sledgehammer, then bashes Triple H in the skull with the chair, then continues destroying Hunter with repeated chairshots. Now Shawn tries to tell Undertaker to drop the chair, but Undertaker brandishes the chair and drives it into Triple H’s ribs before bashing him over the back, then does it again. Shawn tells Undertaker to back off, so Undertaker drops the chair and covers Triple H…for 2.

Shawn pleads with Triple H to stay down, but he still reaches for the sledgehammer as Undertaker slowly stalks him. Triple H tries to drag himself up, but Undertaker blocks the shot with the hammer and looks Triple H right in the eye before pulling the sledgehammer away.

Hunter shoves Undertaker off and shakes his head at him, then gives a crotch chop, so Undertaker bashes Triple H in the skull with the sledgehammer, tosses it out of the ring, and stands over Triple H as Shawn looks mournfully out at the crowd. Undertaker pulls the straps down and waits for Triple H to pull himself to his feet, then picks him up for a Tombstone. He hits and makes the cover and Shawn counts 3.

Winner: Undertaker

Both Undertaker and Triple H lie prone in the ring as the Cell raises and Shawn stares down at the both of them with a look of regret. Undertaker sits up and Shawn holds his hand out to Undertaker, and Undertaker reaches out and lets Shawn help him back to his feet where the two men embrace.

Shawn raises Undertaker’s hand and then goes to check on Triple H as fireworks erupt to celebrate Undertaker reaching 20-0 at Wrestlemania. Triple H is still laying on the mat, and now Shawn and Undertaker help him to his feet and help walk him to the back in a great show of respect.

All three men stand at the top of the ramp soaking in the cheers and share a hug as we discover that the true most important meaning to come out of this whole situation is that Undertaker 20-0 is trending worldwide on Twitter.

We look at last night’s Hall Of Fame induction ceremony, featuring the inductions of Ron Simmons, Yokozuna, Mike Tyson, the Four Horsemen, Mil Mascaras, and Edge. We then see the inductees at the top of the ramp as Howard Finkel introduces them one by one, ending with Edge getting his entrance music for his announcement.

Josh Matthews is backstage hyping tonight’s appearance by Flo Rida, but he is interrupted by Heath Slater, who puts himself over as the One Man Southern Rock Band. Flo Rida comes in and Slater suggests that they do a duet. Flo Rida says no, so Slater suggests that he be Flo Rida’s DJ and then a backup dancer, but Flo Rida isn’t having it. Slater asks what he can do, so Flo Rida says he can hold his mic, and Slater gets ready to get in his face, but Slater straight up launches him into the wall and walks off as Curt Hawkins and Tyler Reks come in and make fun of Slater for getting his ass kicked by Flo Rida.

Brie Bella introduces Team Johnny and Nikki Bella introduces Team Teddy for our next match, with everyone of course wearing color coded t-shirts so we morons know whose team everyone is on.

Team Teddy (Santino Marella, Mofi Kingston, Zack Ryder, R-Truth, Booker T & Great Khali) vs Team Johnny (David Otunga, Dolph Ziggler, Jack Swagger, Drew McIntyre, Mark Henry & The Miz)

Kofi and Ziggler start us off, Ziggler snapmares Kofi hard and whips him to the corner, but eats boot on a charge and Kofi gets a crossbody out of the corner for 2. Truth tags in and he and Kofi hit a double hiptoss on Ziggler, followed by the dancing legdrop from Truth for 2. Ziggler with a standing dropkick out of nowhere and then he tags out to McIntyre, who quickly gets flattened by Truth with a spinning forearm. Khali tags in and he unloads on McIntyre, ramming him into the corner and bashing him in the chest with a big chop and a clothesline.

Booker T comes in and unloads on McIntyre, hitting a back elbow and a thrust kick. Booker with a side suplex for 2, but Otunga nails Booker from the outside. Booker goes through Team Johnny one by one with right hands, but Otunga hangs Booker up on the top rope and then Swagger tags in and covers for 2. Swagger with a snapmare and a top wristlock on Booker as Cole informs us that this is the first 12 man tag in Wrestlemania history.

Swagger with a clothesline to Booker for 2, then tags out to Mark Henry, who slams Booker hard and then tags out to the Miz, who rams knees to the skull of Booker before connecting with a kneelift for 2. Miz with a rear chinlock and a suplex attempt, but Booker reverses to a suplex of his own. Ziggler with a big elbowdrop, but Booker kicks out at 2, so Miz tags back in and goes back after Booker with another rear chinlock. Booker fights his way free and hits an ax kick, but Henry comes in and hits the World’s Strongest Slam on Booker.

Khali comes in and lays Henry out with a chop, Swagger and McIntyre hit a double flapjack on Khali, and all heck continues to break loose with member of Team Johnny getting dumped to the floor before Kingston and Ryder hit stereo dives to the floor. Aksana goes after Vickie Guerrero, the Bellas get involved, and they roll around on the floor as Booker makes the hot tag to Santino, who comes in and cleans house on Miz. Santino with a hiptoss and then he goes up top and hits a diving headbutt.

Santino takes the cobra sock out of his tights, goes after Johnny on the apron, then nails Miz with the Cobra and makes a cover, but Ziggler breaks it up at 2. Ryder tags in and cleans house on Miz and Ziggler, and he goes for the Rough Ryder, but Miz elevates him overhead and he takes out Ziggler instead. Eve gets into the ring with him to do WOO WOO WOO, but Miz comes out of nowhere and hits the Skull Crushing Finale on Ryder and gets the win.

Winners: Team Johnny

Ryder looks mad as he gets up and turns around to look at Eve, who kicks him low and walks off looking real please with herself.

We do the segment where we look at all the places people came from to attend Wrestlemania, all the community stuff the WWE Superstars did over the last week or so in Miami, and all the time everyone in WWE spent on Twitter.

We then go backstage to John Laurinaitis asking CM Punk if he’s not celebrating because he has stuff on his mind because of Chris Jericho. He says Punk looks angry and like he wants to go beat Jericho up, but he doesn’t want a brawl out there, he wants a wrestling match, so he decides that if Punk loses his temper and gets disqualified, he’ll lose his title to Chris Jericho.

WWE Title Match: CM Punk vs Chris Jericho

They tie up and fight over a rear waistlock, Punk takes Jericho down and tries to go behind, Jericho escapes but Punk sits out and goes behind, then fires forearms into Jericho’s face. Punk sends Jericho to the ropes and lands a knee to the midsection, then drills Jericho in the face with knees and stomps in the corner. The referee backs Punk off, and Jericho stands up and slaps Punk in the face, so Punk goes back to stomping Jericho’s face out in the corner.

Jericho with another pair of slaps and then he backs off to the corner, and Punk again goes after him with right hands and knees before the referee backs him off yet again. Jericho asks Punk how his father is, and that enrages Punk, who traps Jericho’s arms and rams elbowsmashes into his face American Dragon-style. Punk with a slam and then he goes up top, but Jericho rolls out to the floor, so Punk adjusts and hits a clothesline to the floor.

Jericho asks Punk how his sister is, so Punk grabs a chair from ringside and chases Jericho into the ring with it, but catches himself at the last second. He stands there holding the chair over his head as Jericho yells at him that his father’s a drunk and his sister’s a drug addict, but Punk tosses the chair aside and gives Jericho an opening to hit a dropkick from the second rope.

Now Jericho has the advantage and rams kneestrikes into Punk and then catches him with a running back elbow. They go out to the apron and Punk goes for GTS on the outside, but Jericho slips out and clotheslines Punk into the ring, then picks him up and suplexes him out to the floor, and Punk takes it full on in a cringe-inducing moment.

Jericho hits a running punt to Punk’s ribs, then quickly rolls him inside and covers him for 2. Jericho with elbowdrops to Punk’s ribs and then gets a double underhook backbreaker, a move Punk used many times in his pre-WWE days to welcome people to Chicago, but that only gets 2 for the challenger. Jericho gets a rear chinlock and Punk fights his way out, but Jericho catches him in a spinning backbreaker for 2 and then kicks him in the back and follows up with a senton for a two count.

Punk again fires back with right and left hands and tries a crossbody off the top rope, but Jericho grabs Punk by the tights and yanks him down onto the back of his head. Jericho covers and gets 2, then traps Punk in a standing surfboard. Punk mulekicks his way out, then uses Jericho’s momentum against him off a bulldog attempt by ramming him into the corner. Punk has the momentum and starts firing back with chops and kicks, a leg lariat, a clothesline, and a neckbreaker for 2.

Punk with a running high knee in the corner and then comes out with a bulldog attempt, but Jericho shoves him off and goes for a Lionsault, Punk tries to get the knees up, but Jericho blocks and goes right into the Liontamer, and Punk escapes that and gets a high kick to the head for 2. Punk with a slam and then he goes to the top rope and goes for the Macho elbow, but Jericho gets the knees up and hits a Codebreaker that sends Punk spilling out to the floor.

Jericho goes out and gets Punk and rolls him back into the ring, but Punk gets the Go To Sleep out of nowhere and slowly crawls over to make the cover, but takes too long and Jericho is able to get his foot on the bottom rope. Punk unloads with more kicks, then catches Jericho with a snap powerslam for 2. Jericho escapes a suplex attempt and dumps Punk gut first onto the top rope, then hits the Lionsault for 2. Jericho fires forearms into Punk’s unprotected head and then goes up top, but Punk makes it to his feet and unloads on Jericho, even pulling out the legendary Mongolian chop.

Punk goes to the top rope and goes for a Frankensteiner, but Jericho holds onto him on the way to the mat and goes right into the Walls Of Jericho. Punk is trapped right in the center of the ring, but fights his way to the ropes and forces the break. Jericho protests with the referee, then charges Punk and gets backdropped to the floor. Punk hits a dive through the ropes and wipes out Jericho, then connects with the running high knee against the ringpost.

Punk rolls Jericho back into the ring and goes for a springboard move back in, but Jericho catches him coming in with a Codebreaker and makes the cover, but Punk is out at 2. Punk goes for the GTS another couple of times, but Jericho fights his way out and shoves Punk into the corner and unloads with a running forearm to the back of the head and a kick to the ribs.

Jericho goes back to the top rope, but takes too long and Punk hits a leaping enziguiri. Punk carries Jericho out to the middle of the ring, yells “BEST IN THE WORLD!” and goes for the GTS, but Jericho blocks and gets Punk in the Liontamer. Punk doesn’t tap, so Jericho turns it into the full Walls Of Jericho, and Punk fights to get to the ropes, but Jericho drags him back out to the middle of the ring.

Punk slips out and counters to a small package, Jericho counters to a small package of his own for 2, and Punk counters that to the Anaconda Vice, Jericho uses the hair to roll Punk to his back for 2, but Punk counters back to the Anaconda Vice and Jericho uses kneestrikes to escape and go back to the Walls Of Jericho. Punk tries to punch and kick his way out and finally succeeds and goes back to the Anaconda Vice and Jericho is finally forced to tap out.

Winner: CM Punk

Jericho looks mad as Punk celebrates and shouts out once again that he is the Best In The World.

We visit with the pilots who did the fly-by of the arena with fireworks as Lillian Garcia sang earlier in the evening, and then…SOMEBODY CALL MY MAMA! Brodius Clay comes out to tell us that we’re gonna do something special tonight, he wants everyone to get out their phones because WE GONNA CALL OUR MAMAS!

Brodius calls his mama on the phone and says we at Wrestlemania and he wishes she was here to see all this greatness…but wait a minute, she is here! Brodus introduces Mama Clay, and his mama comes out with a giant fake ass to dance with Brodius and the girls. As if that wasn’t good enough, a whole bunch of other people’s fat mamas comes out and dances with their giant fake asses as well.

Before our main event, WWE drives home John Cena’s entire issue with the Rock as we see a commercial for the new GI Joe movie, starring the Rock. We see the video packages with the history between John Cena and the Rock, and then it’s MAIN EVENT TIME!

Puff Daddy comes out to introduce MGK, who performs the Wrestlemania 28 theme song and gets booed out of the building, and then John Cena makes his entrance and gets booed out of the state. He gives some old bag in the front row his room key and pauses to soak in the…uh, adulation of the crowd, and then Flo Rida comes out to perform the other Wrestlemania theme song. Finally, the Rock comes out to a thunderous ovation from his adopted hometown, and we’re off!

Once In A Lifetime: John Cena vs The Rock

Michael Cole notes that not only is this Rock’s first Wrestlemania appearance in eight years, but also his first singles match in nearly nine. They tie up, and Cena shoves Rock off. Rock pauses for a moment to consider his options as we have dueling “let’s go Cena” and “Cena sucks” chants, then they tie up again and Cena now gets shoved off, and stops to smile like an idiot before going back to circling Rock.

Rock with a side headlock, then they trade wristlocks, Rock rolls through and whips Cena to the ropes and gets a series of armdrags and La Magistral cradle for 2. Cena backs off and looks bewildered, but adjusts his armbands and goes back to getting headlocked by Cena. Cena shoves Rock off to the ropes, Rock takes Cena down with a shoulderblock, but Cena comes back with a hiptoss and takes Rock down with a side headlock.

Rock makes it back to his feet and shoves Cena off to the ropes, Cena gets a boot to the head, and Rock cracks him with a right hand. Cena gets flustered and charges Rock, but Rock takes him down with a double leg and Cena bails to the floor to a round of boos. Cena tries to shoulderblock through the ropes coming back in, but Rock sidesteps Cena and kicks him hard in the chest.

Cena finally catches a break as he rams Rock into the corner and charges in with shoulderblock to the midsection a couple of times, then runs him over with a clothesline and covers, but only gets 1. Cena gets a laying bearhug, and keeps the hold as Rock gets back to his feet and punches Cena in the face until he breaks the hold.

Rock charges Cena, but Cena ducks and pulls down the top rope, sending Rock tumbling out to the floor. Cena goes out after Rock and drops him chest first onto the barricade, then picks him back up and does the same thing onto the announce table. Cena kicks Rock in the ribs and rolls him back inside to cover for a 2 count, then waits for Rock to get back to his feet so he can drill him in the skull with a big right hand.

Cena plants Rock with a belly to belly suplex for 2, Rock fires back with right hands, but Cena shoots Rock to the ropes and catches him coming back in a bearhug. Rock tries to fight his way free, but Cena cinches up on the bearhug and Rock again screams in agony. Rock finally manages to punch his way free and hits a quick DDT for 2.

Cena tries unloading with a flurry of punches on Rock, but Rock starts firing back, hits a flying clothesline and a spinebuster, and goes for the People’s Elbow. Cena grabs the ankle and tries countering to the STF, but Rock escapes so Cena hits a Blue Thunder Driver and does You Can’t See Me and hits the Five Knuckle Shuffle. Instead of going for the cover, he waits for Rock to regain his footing and picks him up for the Attitude Adjustment, but Rock slips out and a double clothesline leaves both men laying.

Both men get back to their feet and they trade blows in the middle of the ring, but Cena ducks a big bomb and hits the Attitude Adjustment. Cena goes for a cover, but Rock is out at 2. Cena picks Rock up, but Rock hits a Rock Bottom out of nowhere and covers for a 2 count. Rock unloads on Cena with kicks and elbows in the corner, but Cena reverses a whip into a side suplex for 2. Cena rolls out to the apron and climbs to the top rope, waits for Rock to regain his feet, and hits the top rope Fameasser, but he still only manages to get 2.

Cena goes for another Attitude Adjustment, Rock slips out and picks the legs, and gets Cena in the Sharpshooter. Cena makes the ropes, so Rock pulls him back out to the middle of the ring and tries to reapply, and he is successful. Rock seems to kind of lose the hold, and Cena manages to get back to the ropes and roll out to the apron.

Rock goes out to the floor and pounds on Cena as he’s straddled out on the apron, and Cena finally tumbles completely out to the floor. Rock whips Cena into the ring steps, and Cena is in a bad way as Rock picks him up and smashes his face into the steps a second time. Rock puts Cena back on the apron and rolls inside, and Cena gets a sunset flip over the top rope and rolls Rock right into the STF.

Cena screams at Rock to tap, but Rock still manages to crawl toward the ropes. Cena drags Rock back out to the middle of the ring and goes back into the STF on Rock, and Rock starts to fade out. The referee checks the arm, but the Rock stays alive and manages to drag himself to the ropes and force the break.

Cena crawls over to the ropes to try and regain some strength, but staggers back over to the Rock and walks right into a Samoan drop. Rock unloads on Cena with right hands, Cena fires back, Cena blocks the Rock Bottom, Rock blocks the Attitude Adjustment, and then Rock hits the spinebuster and he hits the People’s Elbow. Rock covers, but Cena again manages to kick out at 2. Rock gets back to his feet and picks Cena up, and Cena gets a quick small package for 2. Crowd is split for both men as Cena tackles Rock and catapults him into the top turnbuckle and rolls him up for 2.

Cena hauls Rock back to his feet and drives him back into the corner, then sits him on the top rope. Cena goes up and tries for a superplex, but Rock fights Cena off and tosses him into the middle of the ring. Rock is exhausted, but digs deep and comes off the top with a crossbody. Cena rolls through, powers Rock up into the Attitude Adjustment, and covers for a very close 2.

Crowd is going nuts as they thought that was it. Cena slowly gets to his feet, goes to do You Can’t See Me, but gets booed by the crowd, so he stops and sets Rock up, throws his armband into the crowd and goes for the People’s Elbow, but runs right into the Rock Bottom and Rock covers him for the win.

Winner: The Rock

Cena sits on the entrance ramp looking like someone just stole his girlfriend as Rock’s music plays and the real top star in WWE celebrates in the ring. That’s what happens when you try to be a smartass! Fireworks are going off as Rock raises his fist to the crowd in victory and we go off the air.
